CBD is Legal
First and foremost, CBD is legal in all 50 states. According to federal law, CBD consumers can receive CBD products in the mail across all states, as long as they are hemp-derived and contain less than 0.3% THC (which is the psychoactive component of marijuana – the part that gets you “high”).
1. It Comes in Many Forms
No matter how you want to consume your CBD, there is a form for you. You can pick up a bottle of CBD oil or a packet of CBD gummies.
2. No Scary Side Effects
Since CBD contains such a small percentage of THC, you don’t have to worry about any of the potentially off-putting effects that come with THC consumption. You get all of the good stuff without worrying about the anxiety and paranoia that some people experience when they take THC.
3. CBD Helps with Anxiety
CBD is most famous for helping users with their anxiety. In fact, 60% of CBD users have reported it helps them manage anxiety, according to some surveys.
4. CBD Can Help Depression
In some studies conducted on rodents, CBD helped lessen anxious and depressed behaviors even faster than traditional antidepressants. Without human trials, though, it can be difficult to say for certain how well it will work on us.
5. CBD May Help with Insomnia
A few studies have been done on CBD’s effects on insomnia, and they show really promising results! If your insomnia is caused by something that CBD is known to be helpful for, then you could be catching better Z’s in no time.
It’s important to note that CBD consumption is still pretty new, so there is a lot that we don’t really know about it yet. For now, what we know is that it’s safe to use and readily available in all 50 states. Those who use it swear by it, so if you suffer from any of these ailments (or a whole host of other things we didn’t have time to cover here), it could be worth a try!
